Build a resume without uploading your career history

A resume can contain your contact details, employment history, projects, and education. Before choosing a tool, understand where that information goes and how you can retrieve or remove it.

How this workspace works

ApplySprig stores your application drafts in local browser storage. Core editing, matching, and export happen on your device. The optional AI writing aid sends only the text you explicitly submit to Cloudflare. You do not need an account and we do not receive your resume content through those core functions. The separate AI dialog requires consent before sending the selected text.

Local storage has tradeoffs

Your drafts do not automatically appear on another device or browser. Clearing site data, using a private browsing window, or losing access to the device may remove your drafts. Someone with access to your browser profile may be able to read them. Local storage is not a secure vault.

Keep an independent backup

Use Back up workspace to download your applications as a JSON file. Keep it somewhere you control and treat it as a personal document: it includes your drafts and job descriptions. Restore adds those applications as new copies rather than overwriting your current drafts.

What does reach our server

Hosting necessarily handles web requests. If you choose to register interest in a review or partnership, the email address and interest category you submit are sent to our service. That form does not send your resume. Optional anonymous usage counts are described in our privacy notice.

A practical checklist

Use a browser profile you trust, avoid editing on shared public computers, back up before clearing site data, and review downloaded files before sharing them. For sensitive project work, describe the contribution without disclosing confidential employer or client information.
